There is a 10% discount for group bookings of 4 or more. This course is designed to introduce you to the latest nutrition and lifestyle ideas. Over the course of four weeks, I will explain how healthy, nutrient dense food and changes to your lifestyle can improve your health and give you more energy and vitality.
What I aim to do is to give you the knowledge and the tools to not only identify the correct foods for you, but to understand the effect that healthy and unhealthy foods have on your body’s systems.
We will look at healthy protein, carbohydrates and fats and what to avoid. Portion sizes and a balanced food plate are also discussed. We will examine why dieting causes weight gain, what causes our energy levels to drop during the day and how to identify the correct foods to obtain the nutrients we need to stay healthy.
Your digestive system is key to your overall health and we will look at how to support this. Finally, we will look at how good sleep, stress reduction and exercise fit in with healthy eating to ensure optimum well-being.
The course includes exercises on nutrient intake, sleep monitoring and a food diary. Participants are encouraged to do these exercises between sessions and then discuss their experiences the following week.
I also offer one-to-one nutritional therapy to my group clients at a discounted price if you feel that you may benefit from a more individualised approach after the group sessions.
